Immediate Postdoctoral Positions at Harvard Medical School
Multiple postdoctoral positions are available at the Metabolic Disease Group, working under the supervision of Dr. Saeidi, in the Center for Engineering in Medicine (CEM) at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The fellows will partake in several research endeavors which are highly translational aspects of obesity and type 2 diabetes and predominantly geared towards understanding the role of the intestine-liver-WAT crosstalk in the regulation of energy homeostasis at cellular and organism levels.
Desired Skills & Experience
The candidate must have well demonstrated expertise in molecular biology techniques and in working with rodents. Prior experience with small animal surgery is highly desirable. Given the nature of the project, strong scientific background in metabolic phenotypic techniques such as insulin clamp, organoid culture, and adipose biology would be a plus.
