The Center for Suicide Prevention and Research (CSPR) within The Center for Innovation in Pediatric Practice (CIPP) at The Research Institute at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine is seeking applicants for one tenure-track faculty position. CSPR at Nationwide Children’s Hospital was established in 2015 to address the growing public health concern of youth suicide and suicidal behavior within our state and country. It is our mission to conduct innovative research and implement evidence-based prevention programs to decrease the rate of suicide in youth. Applicants must have an established program of research and track record of extramural funding. Interdisciplinary work that intersects with epigenetics, neuroimaging, innovative interventions, community-based services, or primary prevention is highly desirable. Applicants should have an MD or PhD in medicine, social/behavioral sciences, epidemiology, or public health with an emphasis on pediatric and/or behavioral health populations. A strong commitment to teaching/mentoring young investigators, post-doctoral research experience, and clinical expertise in youth mental health concerns is recommended. Faculty members have an appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Joint appointments in other departments and colleges within the university are easily arranged. Salary and benefits are very competitive and are based on experience and academic rank.
