Job Description: A postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Peng Zhang, Assistant Professor in the Cardiovascular Research Center of Rhode Island Hospital and Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, RI. Dr. Zhang\u2019s laboratory investigates mechanisms of cardiac remodeling and dysfunction in response to cardiac stress and injury at cellular, organ, and whole animal level. The laboratory utilizes state-of-the-art molecular and cell biological, biochemical, and physiological approaches to address clinically relevant questions. The interdisciplinary Cardiovascular Research Center () is home to scientists, physician-scientists, and students investigating molecular mechanisms of cardiac disease, with focal areas in cardiac remodeling and failure, ischemia\/reperfusion, arrhythmias, and sudden cardiac death. Investigators are supported by Hospital- and Brown-based core facilities.
