The Clinical Research Fellowship global program, founded in the mid-1990s, allows young clinical researchers to immerse themselves in key research under the mentorship of leading scientists and medical directors. The results have benefitted both patients and the scientific community, and have jump-started careers in clinical research and drug development.
As a Clinical Fellow, you will:
Develop an educational project plan to improve your knowledge base
Participate in regular clinical science meetings related to your project(s)
Participate in regular Neuroscience meetings on a variety of clinical topics
Participate in additional relevant Genentech training opportunities that arise throughout the year
Complete Genentech Standard Operating Procedure training modules
Design a clinical research project in your area of interest
Complete your research project within the one-year program
Contribute to abstracts or manuscripts for publication
Participate in relevant internal and external Genentech meetings
At the end of the one-year fellowship, participants are asked to present their data to an internal peer review group.
