The Department of Physics offers undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD) degrees in physics, and areas of research involve nuclear, optical and medical physics.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will conduct research in theoretical nuclear physics in topics involving low energy effective theories. Candidates with experience in effective theories, Chiral Perturbation Theory and 1/N expansions will be preferred. The candidate will be encouraged to carry out work on her/his topics of interest and also to collaborate on ongoing projects in Baryon chiral effective theories.
The candidate is required to have completed a PhD in theoretical nuclear or particle physics, and have experience working in effective theories.
