Degree and area of specialization:
PhD required; 2 years postdoctoral or equivalent experience required. DVM (or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum of 2 years postdoctoral or equivalent experience to be considered at assistant professor level.
Minimum of 4 years as an assistant professor (or equivalent) to be considered at the associate professor level with tenure.
License or Certificate:
The Department of Pathobiological Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking candidates for a tenure-track position as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Bacteriology.
Position may be considered for either a 9-month or 12-month appointment.
