Experience with field studies in the coastal zone (e.g., beaches, embayments, wetlands, estuary systems), geographical information systems, programming, and basic statistical analyses is also desirable. The successful candidate will interact with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, social scientists and biologists.

Qualifications: The candidate must have a Ph.D. in civil/environmental engineering, earth sciences or a related field from an accredited university and a record of relevant research leadership in the form of first-authored research papers.
