Molecular Biology Postdoctoral Fellow - (1800005O)



Position Description: 

Transcriptomics applied to the effects of environmental conditions, e.g., barometric pressure and ambient oxygen concentration, on RNA present in different animal tissues, including brain, heart and lung. 

Laboratory Group: The group consists of junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and technical staff. The principal investigator has over 35 years of experience in biochemical and molecular biology-based research directed primarily at ischemic and traumatic brain injury with emphasis on mitochondria and oxidative stress.



PhD or MD with 2-4 years of molecular biology research experience. Experience measuring gene expression using microarray and PCR technology. Additional experience with western immunoblots preferred. Applicants must not have more than 4 years postdoctoral research experience.
