Professor Anu Aggarwal is seeking a post doctoral research scientist in the area of Electrical and Computer Engineering – Neuromorphic
design and Computational Neuroscience. The initial appointment will be for 12 months, beginning on or around January, 2018 or September, 2018 (flexible). Responsibilities include performing experiments, organizing and analyzing data collected, working with students and principal investigators, writing research proposals/grants and peer-reviewed manuscripts, monitoring and management, and assisting in the coordination of research projects.
Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Neuroscience or closely related field. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Experience in the areas of Neuromorphic
design and/or Computational Neuroscience is preferred.

The School of Engineering and Technology currently offers two
accredited engineering programs in electrical engineering (
) and mechanical engineering (
), and initiated a computer engineering program in fall 2012. The School of Engineering and Technology presently has 25 full-time faculty members and also offers undergraduate majors in mechanical and industrial engineering technology, and construction management. The School also started an MS in engineering program in 2015. Courses are taught in an attractive 70,000 square foot engineering and technology building which houses more than twenty laboratories and support spaces.
