The Department of Otolaryngology is seeking an Associate Specialist. The appointee will involve in our research program to develop nanotechnology platforms for interrogating receptor signaling dynamics in live cells. For research topics, please see our lab website at Potential projects are mechanogenetic interrogation of Neuroligin and Neurexin signaling, development of microtissue-microsensor hybrid systems for in situ monitoring of fluid pressure inside cardiac spheroids. The appointee will carry out both independent and collaborative research projects.

Required Qualifications:

* Must have a PhD degree or equivalent

* More than 6 years postdoctoral research experience

* Must have expertise on neuroscience AND nanoscience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Post-graduate training in neuroscience, nanoscience, or related field

* Independent specialized research
